Linda Pereira is the senior partner and CEO of the L&I Communications Group. In addition to her long and respected career as one of the most influential voices in the Meeting Industry, she is also Executive Director of CPL Meetings & Events. Respected internationally as a speaker, writer and as an educator, she has been an invited speaker in over 143 cities and all continents. She has played an active role in many major events and bids for world events. She is also an invited lecturer at three different international Universities where she lectures strategic meetings management. Linda is also a consultant to a variety of international Governments and associations.

In 2008 she was considered one of Portugal’s five most influential people in the industry and received the annual education award from USA-based IAHMP. In 2009 she received the medal of honour for responsible entrepreneurship for her commitment to promoting culture and heritage and for CSR initiatives. In 2012 she was voted one of world’s top 100 PCOs for the third year running and was listed among the top 100 Women CEOs of ecommerce companies by WE magazine from the USA. In 2014 she was voted the Events Personality of the Year in Portugal and received the Global Marketing Personality Award from WE Magazine in the USA. In 2015 she was elected president of the Global Council for Women in Leadership. She is currently special advisor to the Minister for the Economy of Cape Verde and sits on the Advisory Council for the Leader Magazine and the Venues of Excellence Certification Board.

Rob Davidson

Managing Director, MICE Knowledge

Rob Davidson is the Managing Director of MICE Knowledge, a consultancy specialising in research, education and training services for the meetings and events industry. His main areas of expertise are conferences and incentive travel, and he has written seven books on these themes, including his latest publication, Business Events. He has carried out research projects for a number of major organisations including the Poland Convention Bureau, the Ireland National Tourism Development Authority, and the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence.

Rob teaches as a Visiting Professor in five European universities.
In 2016, he won the Best Conference Speaker award at the Global Event Awards.
In 2017, he was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award at the IBTM WORLD exhibition in Barcelona.

Dr Luka B. Uskoković

Expert on digitalization and online payment systems, Ministry of Science, Government of Montenegro

Dr Luka B. Uskoković, Doctor of Economics, expert in the field of brand management and marketing in tourism and services. He is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Management in Herceg Novi, Faculty of Banking, Insurance and Finance in Belgrade in the disciplines of strategic tourist destination management, banking, control and auditing. He is the author of a valuable scientific monograph "Brand management of a tourist destination". He has been engaged as a brand consultant in various companies and the public sector in the areas of business digitalization, management, marketing, destination brand management and national brand. He is the author and co-author of numerous scientific articles in the country and abroad. He performed the highest functions in banking. He is professionally engaged in the development of e-commerce and digitalization of the largest Montenegrin retail chain. He is an external expert of the Ministry of Science in the Government of Montenegro on eCommerce, digitalization and development of online payment systems.

Martina Lucić Čanak

Dr. Đorđije Vasiljević

Associate professor at Department of Geography, Tourism and Hotel Management, Faculty of Sciences, University of Novi Sad

Đorđije is associate professor at the Chair of Geoecology, Department of Geography, Tourism and Hotel Management, Faculty of Sciences, University of Novi Sad, Serbia. His main focus of research is nature-based tourism with special attention to geoheritage, interpretation of natural and cultural heritage, monitoring and management of visitors in protected areas. Đorđije was or still is a member of several national or international projects. He organised more than 10 conferences in the field of tourism and geosciences, and was lecturer at numerous conferences worldwide (Great Britain, USA, South Africa, Estonia, Austria, Switzerland, Croatia, Romania, etc.). Đorđije is also editor in Open Geosciences (IF 0.788) and Geoconservation Research and in 2017 he was appointed as expert for protected areas by WWF Adria. He has published 27 papers and was cited 509 times with h-index 12 (according to Scopus database).

Enis Hadžimujić

Business and Development Specialist in the Hotel Industry

Enis Hadžimujić started his career in the hotel industry fifteen years ago in the five-star hotel Radon Plaza in Sarajevo. Then, he further gained his knowledge in the prestigious hotel Central WestWood Club, and after that he was promoted to the position of director of the Hotel President, a well-known Sarajevo 4-star hotel. There he performed a number of tasks, in several phases, starting from pre-opening period and then planning, organizing and managing all hotel operations, staff and finances, and cost control. During his career, Enis has developed enviable professional skills of leading a hotel team, and developing and executing operational strategies in line with the brand’s core business strategy.

After working as Director of Operations at Novotel Sarajevo Bristol Hotel and Director of Sales and Marketing at Swissotel Sarajevo, in January 2019 Enis was appointed as Director of Business Development at Bosmal Arjaan by Rotana. Within the position of strategic business leader of the first Rotan hotel in Bosnia and Herzegovina, he worked on planning, organizing and managing the sales and marketing sector.

He is a participant in numerous conferences and panel discussions in the field of hospitality, new trends, development, sales and strategic planning and business. He publishes his texts on these topics in domestic specialized publications, magazines and web portals. He is currently working on the project of the company Business newspaper, "100 Largest Companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina" as its coordinator.

Dr. Uglješa Stankov

Dr. Uglješa Stankov is an Associate Professor at the Department of Geography, Tourism and Hotel Management, Faculty of Sciences, University of Novi Sad. His main research areas are the strategic role of information technology in tourism experiences and location intelligence in business activities. Due to the growing negative impact that inadequate use of information technology has on the digital well-being of consumers, the focus of his recent research is on the "calm" design of interactive systems in tourism and hospitality, as well as on technology-assisted mindfulness (e-mindfulness). Uglješa actively cooperates with researchers and professional organizations from the country and the world and currently participates in several international projects. He has published more than 150 scientific papers and four books.

Adriano Požarić

Editor in Chief of TURIZAM info and director of the Internet Adria conference

After several years of working in tourism in Opatija, at positions from waiters to Hotel Manager, in 1996 he opened a marketing agency specializing in tourism marketing. In 2003 he launched Tourism Info – a professional magazine for the tourism sector as a platform for information of profession.

He became actively involved in the development of Opatija’s tourism industry during 2001 when he became a member of the Tourism Council. In 2005 he founded the city’s congress bureau, making Opatija the only Croatian city with a congress bureau, besides Zagreb and Dubrovnik. He was in charge of the presentations and promotions of the Opatija Riviera and Croatia at many European tourism fairs and workshops. He is a frequent guest lecturer at colleges and tourism congresses in recent years.

He is the founder and director of HoReCa Adria, an Internet Adria conference and several training and workshops in the field of tourism marketing.

Marina Maljurić

Program Director, MEKST conference

Marina’s career as event manager organizing conferences in the field of tourism, hotel industry and digital marketing has started during her graduate studies of Management and business in tourism. After graduation her work continued in the same direction and led her to the position of program director of conferences that gather from 200 to 1100 participants. The biggest one is MEKST conference taking place every year in Novi Sad with more than 1000 participants from 15 European countries. Marina is also the program director of the International Scientific Future Tourism Conference, which is held every year in Budva. Furthermore, she applied her knowledge and expertise to organization of ScoSym symposium. She started her work at Tourism Organisation of the City of Novi Sad at the position of Manager for Development and Promotion of Tourism Product. That position helped her gain more experience in marketing and promotion as well as in an organisation of B2B events, fam trips, festivals etc. Currently she is in charge of development and promotion of Novi Sad as a MICE destination. She is passionate about work bringing you a sense that what you are doing matters.
